Buflex X’PREM cable control and power reeling cables 0.6/1 (1.2) kV
Application:
Buflex X’PREM cable with polyurethane sheath are especially designed for reeling applications, with high mechanical stresses and severe environmental conditions such as torsion, tension, torque and abrasion. A member strength has been integrated to fulfill tensile load and high acceleration and speed.
Design:
- Central strength member: Aramid yarns
- Conductor: Flexible plain copper, class 5 to IEC 60228
- Insulation: XLPE
- Outer sheath: Double layer with anti-twisting reinforcement PU
- Outer sheath colour: Yellow

- BUFLEX X’PREM – 0.6/1 kV number of cores – cross-section NEXANS – week – year
Core identification:
- Control: White with printed numbers
- Power: 4 cores – Black, Brown, Grey and Green/Yellow (3 earth cores for sizes ≥ 25mm²).
- 5 cores – Black, Brown, Grey, Blue and Green/Yellow

- Current carrying capacities are given for an uncoiled cable laid on the ground, a conductor temperature of 90 °C and ambient temperature of 30 °C. Correction factors must be applied for other conditions.
